Do you need to stop by the store? How do I get to sits or to the afterparty at Piazza without freezing myself? What ride to take from the centrum back to the cabin? Answers to these questions you can find from Eezy Nonstop-transportation, if your accommodation locates in Tahko center or Tahkolahti.
Eezy HR services and Tahkofest are offering a free nonstop-transportation for students during both event days. E.Ahonen bus will operate during Friday and Saturday between Tahkolahti – Piazza. You can hop in from final stops and from on route bus stops. Nonstop-transport can be recognized from Tahkofest and Eezy logos.
Eezy Nonstop-transport requires two things from you, you’re a student and you have a valid student card and a student union membership. You have to show your student id always to the driver when boarding the ride.
Bus-transportation occurs the same way the city-transport does, there is sitting spots and standing spots for 75 people. Despite this the nonstop-transportation can have traffic from time to time. You can transport your skis and boards in the carriage section.

After ski sits

This is the second time in history that sits are organized at Tahko on Friday 31.1.2020.
The sittning is organized by the Student Union of Savonia UAS, SAVOTTA.
Sittning is a seated meal held within a set time frame. The originate from Sweden and are a typical way to spend an evening among higher education students. During sittning it is common to give small speeches and sing (drinking) songs. The point is to spend a great evening with fellow students enjoying good food, drinks and songs.

To heat up the event and to keep up amazing feelings Rinnehupellus arrives next to the alpine skiing area. You can find the area by following the music. You can expect some competitions with prizes and general hanging out, which is a fantastic way to find new acquaintances before the afterparty.
Hupellus Snowfestivals has arranged cross-studying field alpine skiing trips for 20 years, so we know how to have fun! There’s no enrolling or entrance fee, so the only thing you have to do is to show up!
If you get a craving for alpine skiing, you can always continue from Tahko with Hupellus in spring 2020 to Norway’s MegaHupellus. Come ask more from the organizers or Rinnehupellus!

Tahkofest non-competitive snow football tournament
On Saturday at 14.00, a snow football tournament will take place at the foot of Tahko slopes. The event is in conjunction with Rinnehupellus and is a non-competitive. Having fun is the most important thing! The aim is to complete the whole tournament in less than an hour so you do not need to reserve the whole day for it.
To register for the please use the link below or do it at the tournament spot till 13:00 o’clock. First 16 teams to register will be able to compete.
The maximum size of a team is 10 people of which 1 + 4 are on the field. One person must be designated as a goal keeper. More than half of the team has to be students. If requested, participants are required to present a valid student ID.

- Tournament is played with cup rules; meaning that the losing team is eliminated from the tournament
- Game length is 2 minutes maximum. The time is running when the ball is at play. Game ends to a goal (golden goal) or when the time runs out.
- The starting team is raffled and the game begins from the center point.
- The game is played according to normal rules of football (apart from off-side and penalty rules.
- For a goal, the ball needs to be clearly in the goal
- If no goals are scored, penalty shoot-out will take place
- If the opponent touches the ball with hand(s) or conducts a minor violation (accidental tackling etc.), penalty shot is awarded.
- Penalty shot are fired from the point of violation. The opposing team is required to be at least 2 meters away from the ball. Violation of this rules leads to a new penalty shot.
- Major violation (harming the opponent, tackling on purpose etc.) grants the opposing team a penalty kick and the violating player is removed from the tournament
- Participants are responsible for themselves, tournament organisers claim no responsibility.
- Attending the tournament is free.

RPS Beer Pong tournament
Ball keeps bouncing and beer spilling and the crowd goes wild when the first official RPS Beer Pong tournament starts at Tahko Piazza on Saturday at 19:00. Grab a mate and gather a cheering squad and compete for the Challenge Cup!
Best three will be rewarded in the tournament with S Group gift cards and all competitors get a RPS Beer Pong overall badge. Also the most visible and loud cheering squad gets a surprise prize.
Games are played in two person teams with sudden death princibles and 16 fastest enrolled teams fit in.
Only students that have bought beforehand the ticket to Saturdays Tahkofest party or ticket to Teflon Brothers gig can take part in the competition or cheering squad.
Entry fee is 15€/team which includes competition drinks and overall badges for both competitors.
You can enter the tournament via Kide.app (entry opens in 13.1.2020 10:00 o’clock) by giving team information and paying the entry fee. Prepare to fill in to the entry form your team name, player names and also team captains contact information.

Tahko Midsummer Photo contest is organized during Tahkofest weekend afterparties. You can win for yourself and a friend 3 day ticket to 2020 Tahko Midsummer. The value of the prize is over 200 Euros!
You can take your picture in front of Tahko Midsummer social media wall either on Friday or Saturday. You can find the wall near Piazza entrance.

FINNISH STUDENT ALPINE CHAMPIONSHIPS
Finnish Student Alpine Championships will take place on the gorgeous slopes of Tahko in 1.2.2020.The giant slalom competition includes the following events: Slalom – skis/snowboard/telemark.
Series: Competitive series for women and men, where equipment must meet the standards set by SSF (SkiSport Finland) The relaxed series is mixed (no specification for the equipment, but normal slalom equipment should be used).
Competition format: The competition consists of two rounds, and the winner is determined by the shortest total time.
The competition will take place on the Iso Tahko slope.
You can familiarise yourself with the slope from 11:00 am onwards.
The competition starts at 12:00 am.
Entrance fee for competition:
By signing up till 31.12.2019 you can reserve your spot cheaper. Entrance fee entitles you to the competition and you are insured in case of accidents.

Tahkofest’s offical afterparty will be held on Friday and on Saturday at Piazza at 9pm. The entertainment will be quaranteed on Friday by amazing party duo Pasi and Anssi and on Saturday night Teflon Brothers.
The afterparty ticket costs 12€ on Friday and 14€ on Saturday and the ticket includes the cloakroom fee (3€) and the official Tahkofest 2019 overall badge.
Tickets can be purchased easily from Kide.app and you’ll have the e-ticket on your phone. Overall badges are given from the ticket sale points during the afterparty. Be prepared to show student card at the ticket sale points!

Kide.app is an application for an easier way to find events and purchase tickets. The products you buy from Kide.app are mobile tickets and to use these tickets you need a mobile device with an internet connection.

How to buy tickets
You can buy products from Kide.app with your smartphone, tablet or pc. The payments can be made via either a debit or a credit card. You will receive the purchased product in your smartphone.
In order to buy tickets you need you to register to the service. You can create an account from the profile section of the site where you can register using either your Facebook account or email. The confirmations and receipts for your purchases will be sent to the email you use in registration.
I cant make the event. Can I sell my ticket?
You can send your ticket to a friend or a new buyer from your wallet from the upper right corner of the ticket. The buyer will receive the ticket in their wallet and a confirmation in their email. The buyer has to be a registered user of Kide.app.
