Information about the Kide.app Service
Kide.app is an event advertising and ticket sales platform designed especially for students. Through Kide.app, you can discover events, register for them, and purchase tickets from the comfort of your couch. Your tickets are always with you on your smartphone.
Kide.app is one of the largest channels in Finland targeted at students and organizations. More than 500 organizations in over 20 cities already use the service. There are over 170,000 registered users, and Kide.app reaches tens of thousands of students weekly across Finland.
What is Kide.app and how does it work?
Kide.app is an application that allows you to purchase event tickets anytime, anywhere. The service works on smartphones, tablets, and computers. Payment can be made with debit or credit cards (Visa Electron, Visa Credit/Debit, Maestro, and Mastercard Credit/Debit). Additionally, MobilePay and PIVO are available as payment options. The tickets you purchase are delivered to your smartphone as convenient mobile tickets.
Before purchasing tickets, you need to create an account. You can create an account by going to the Profile tab and clicking the “Create an account” button. You can log in using your email or Facebook credentials. Please register with an actively used email address, as this is where you’ll receive order confirmations and receipts. After your first login, you’ll be able to purchase tickets and register for events in just a few seconds in the future.
I can’t attend the event. Can I resell my ticket?
Yes, you can send your ticket to a friend or a new buyer using the arrow button in the top right corner of the ticket in your wallet. You can send the ticket by entering the recipient’s Kide.app account email address. The recipient will then receive the ticket in their wallet, as well as an email confirmation. If the buyer is not a Kide.app user, ask them to register for the service. If additional information was required with the ticket purchase, such as details for the Tahkofest sitsit event, please contact Tahkofest or Kide.app customer service to update the new buyer’s information.
