Slope Events

During the Tahkofest weekend, there are two slope events at Tahkorinne Mini Mountain. Participation in the slope event is free, but with the Tahkofest wristband, you get many benefits. You can find the location of the slope event on the event map.

The programs for the slope events will be confirmed during October–November!

Slope event on Friday from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM

  • Fun games and hanging out
  • Red Bull’s DJ truck will elevate the atmosphere with music. Visit the Red Bull truck for a taste sensation!
  • Free sausages at the campfire (with Tahkofest wristband)
  • Stiga competition during slope event, sign up on the spot (with Tahkofest wristband)

Slope event on Saturday from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM

  • Playful competitions and general hanging out
  • Red Bull’s DJ truck will elevate the atmosphere of slope event with music. Come visit the Red Bull truck for a taste sensation that gives you wings!
  • Kuopijon Lettukeisari brings some Savonian relaxation to the slope event. You can enjoy a delicious pancake with jam and hot cocoa (with Tahkofest wristband). There are pancakes available for the first 300 students.
  • Free sausages are available at the campfire in limited quantities (with Tahkofest wristband).
  • A playful slalom competition is held in conjunction with slope event, where you can register in advance or on-site. See more about the Slalom Competition (with Tahkofest wristband).

 

Student Organization Stand at the Slope Event?

Would your student organization be interested in having a stand at Tahkofest and bringing some fun activities to the Slope Event?

We’re now looking for 6 student organizations for both Friday and Saturday — could your organization be one of them?

We offer a covered tent spot with a table at the Slope Event, where you can:

  • Organize small programs or activities near your tent (e.g. a fun competition, quiz, or challenge)

  • Sell your own overall patches or other merchandise

  • Network with students from other cities and promote your organization’s activities

If you’re interested, sign up your organization through the link by November 30, 2025.
We will select up to 6 organizations per day, based mainly on the creativity and engagement of the activity you plan to bring.

Selected organizations will receive 3 Tahkofest wristbands as a thank-you for participating.
